Recovery, sleep, and body composition, usually taken together with ipamorelin so growth hormone gets prompted through two different signals at once.
The signal
The same one sermorelin works through: the instruction your brain sends the pituitary to release growth hormone, which arrives less often as you age.
How it works
Natural releasing hormone breaks down in minutes. CJC-1295 adds a modification that binds it to albumin, a protein in your blood, which keeps it circulating. One version (with DAC) lasts about a week; the version usually combined with ipamorelin (without DAC, sometimes called Mod GRF 1-29) lasts closer to half an hour and preserves the natural pulse pattern.
What the research shows
A human trial in healthy adults found single injections raised growth hormone levels for up to six days and IGF-1 for up to eleven [1]. Beyond that, the human literature is thin: the original development program ended, and most published work since is pharmacology rather than outcome trials.
What people get wrong
That "CJC-1295" always means the same molecule. The with-DAC and without-DAC versions behave very differently, and products don't always say which one they are. Most of what circulates under the name in combination stacks is the short-acting version.
